Meet Ellen Frankel, MD
Dr. Ellen Frankel has been in private dermatology practice in Cranston, Rhode Island since 1987. Her practice is composed of a wide range of patients, and she has a special interest in pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. She also works on clinical research studies 2 days a week for various pharmaceutical companies at Clinical Partners, in Johnston, RI. Research areas include acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis.
Dr. Frankel and her office staff are proud of the special effort they make to put children at ease in the office, as evidenced by the separate pediatric examining room and waiting room furniture with toys and books designed to make them feel comfortable. Dr. Frankel states, “All of my attention is focused on good patient care, be it the child or the young at heart. I give each patient plenty of time for a thorough analysis of their problems.”
Dr. Frankel attended medical school at New York Medical College and completed her internship in Internal Medicine at New Rochelle Hospital Medical Center. She was then chief resident at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. In Rhode Island, Dr. Frankel currently serves as chief of dermatology at Kent Hospital.
